Access to TRIUMF and mask policies

Please read the "Visitor Safety Guidelines at TRIUMF during the COVID-19 public health emergency" before coming to TRIUMF.

Note that BC has dropped the indoor mask and vaccination card mandates. However, TRIUMF's Vaccination Verification Policy is still in place! Everyone who wants to enter TRIUMF has to provide proof that they are double vaccinated.

In order to avoid line-ups at the reception, all external collaboration members who are attending the meeting onsite and have not yet provided their vaccination status to validate their access cards in the past months (submitted their information via Thrive Health) should send an email to dillmann@triumf.ca with a pdf of their vaccination card. THERE WILL BE NO SITE ACCESS FOR UNVACCINATED PARTICIPANTS!

Despite the recent change of the indoor mask wearing policy in BC and at TRIUMF we ask ALL PARTICIPANTS TO WEAR A MASK when indoors and not actively eating and drinking! In this way we try to accommodate the needs of all participants. Travellers from abroad are reminded that they have to continue to wear a mask in all public spaces up to 14 days after their arrival (see "Requirements for exempt travellers") .

If you test positive during the meeting or up to 7 days after, please inform your supervisor and the organizers (Adam, Greg) immediately. We will have to inform our Occupational Health and Safety group and send out an email to inform everyone.

For external visitors: If you feel sick during your stay, do not come to TRIUMF or return to your accomodation immediately, and let one of the organizers know. TRIUMF has some Rapid Antigen Test Kits if you show Covid19 symptoms.
