"Science Pitch" - Talk competition

Format 

Presenters will have 3 minutes and only 1 prop: a slide, an item, etc, to deliver a talk on a research-related subject of their choice. The best talk(s) will be determined by 3 judges as well as a popular vote. Prizes for the Best Talk and the People's Choice Award will be awarded on Friday during the TRIUMF Users Group meeting.

The voting poll will be announced during science week and will be open from 17:00 on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 until noon on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023.

Prizes!

First and second place of the poster competition will be rewarded with prizes! Winners will be announced at the TRIUMF User's Group meeting on Friday, August 4th, 2023, between 8:30 - 10:30.
