Equity Diversity & Inclusion workshop

Reverse engineering inclusive recruitment

This EDI workshop on inclusive recruitment will be hosted by Grace Wong-Sneddon and take place on Tuesday, August 1st, 10:45 am to 12:00 pm in the Auditorium.

Abstract:

"We blame the leaky pipeline, the K-12 system, and other factors for the lack of diverse candidates when hiring. What if we reverse engineered the process? In the same way that we respond to many physics problems, we can flip the script on how we hire in order to create a more inclusive, equitable, and diverse recruitment process. In this interactive session, we will start with the assessment phase and work backwards to shape the preceding pieces."
